I started Ramsey's 10 month post, and realized I had way too many photos. I decided to make a separate post about Bertrand Days to help break things up. The 10 month post is coming soon, I promise!
We began our trip with a beautiful afternoon at the park.
Atlee was very excited to take Ramsey to the park!
We headed up to the lake that night for Ramsey to meet the neighbors. She definitely controlled the room! She had five high school girls eating out of the palm of her hand!!
The next morning she was ready to practice her walking skills!
Ramsey was such a big help during our workout...
Saturday night we headed up to the lake again. Ramsey enjoyed some water play on the porch.
She enjoyed it so much, she had to change into her swimsuit!
Sunday morning the festivities began. (I forgot to take pictures at the BBQ Fest the night before, but it was awesome!) We started the fair with a two mile walk. It was a little cold when we started!
All of our family at the race, just missing Jadyn!
And here we are with our medals.
Teaching Ramsey all about gold medals.
Nolan never understands why her face gets so messy when she is eating. I let him feed her this time, and he was very proud of himself for keeping her so clean!
Changed and ready to go, but first Ramsey needed a little play time.
I had my 10 year class reunion that afternoon at the lake. We had so much fun! Matt really enjoyed Calli's stories! We could have stayed and caught up for days with everyone there.
Ramsey kind of beat up on the young kids so I made her play with Preston. They had lots of fun!
Nolan came in from work on Monday morning to get in on a little playtime with Ramsey. We set up a relay for her to walk back and forth throughout the living room with three different walking toys.
Monday afternoon we headed to the park for fun and games. She worked on her ball skills with dad.
We took her through the obstacle course.
and we tried to do some chalk.
That night was FREEZING, but we were excited to take Ramsey on some carnival rides!
She did a few rides with dad and one with the Tool girls.
We headed over to my grandpa's to warm up. He pulled out his jack-in-the-box which is on its third generation of children. Every time someone talks about a jack-in-the-box, this is the one I picture in my mind.
We headed to Ramsey's first rodeo. Matt was taking tickets with Nolan and my dad.
It was seriously so cold for the end of June! Ramsey was such a trooper, and she seemed to like watching the calves during the roping sections.
Tuesday we woke up to a much warmer day. We got ready for one final day of fun.
We enjoyed lunch at Betty's. She was LOVING the baked beans!
E didn't get to hold Ramsey the day before so she was excited to hold her while waiting for the parade to start.
Ramsey enjoyed being passed down the line of great-grandparents.
We watched aunt Atlee go through the parade.
Ramsey wasn't quite sure what to think of all the candy being thrown.
When Atlee was done going through, she came to enjoy the parade with us.
We stayed for Walk Down Medina and enjoyed some yummy watermelon.
Ramsey had fun smiling at all the people!
After a long afternoon, we took a quick water break.
We headed to my parents' for a quick nap and then were ready to go back to the fair for one more night. This time, she got to go on rides with mom! The weather was much warmer!!
Atlee and friends as the Miss Bertrand court.
She enjoyed the rodeo much more this night!
We took off the next day to head to the airport and fly home. Luckily, Ramsey took a nice long nap on our drive.
Our flight was delayed by SEVERAL hours. We were finally able to take off about 12 hours after our flight was originally supposed to leave. Ramsey did awesome! We changed her into her pajamas right before we boarded.
As per the usual way we take trips, we packed a lot into a short amount of time. I hope my little family enjoyed their first of many Bertrand Days!
